The Coit Museum of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is seeking enthusiastic University of Arizona College of Pharmacy graduates to serve as volunteer greeters and/or guides at Coit Museum. If you're passionate about the history of pharmacy and enjoy interacting with the public, this is a great way to stay connected to your alma mater while supporting health sciences education.

Volunteers are asked to work two+ shifts/tours per month for at least one year.  Training is provided to ensure all volunteers are confident and well-informed about the museum and its mission.

Volunteer Roles Needed:

Greeters -

  • Welcome visitors, provide a short museum orientation, and answer questions.
  • Availability for 9 AM- 12 PM or 12PM- 3 PM shifts on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays

Guides -

  • Lead engaging tours of the museum (interpretive gallery and exhibits in Skaggs and Drachman Hall), sharing insights about the exhibits, history, and collections.
  • Tours are offered Mondays-Fridays 9am-5pm, occasional Saturdays.
